The South Conejos Fire Protection District
We are a volunteer fire department providing fire protection and fire suppression in Southern Conejos County, the Town of Antonito and the unincorporated communities of Conejos, Fox Creek, Guadalupe, Lobatos, Mogote and San Rafael. We also provide mutual aid to surrounding fire districts within the San Luis Valley and portions of Northern New Mexico. Our department is equipped to provide these services in numerous situations including residential and commercial structures, forest fires and vehicle fires. Our volunteers also receive specialized training in basic life support procedures and modern vehicle extrication. Our volunteer firefighters take pride in our community.
